It is a challenging language to learn, but richly rewarding, as it conveys ideas concerning the science of mind which are difficult to translate into modern languages. For fellow beginners on the journey, below are some links and posts relating to Sanskrit learning resources I am finding helpful.

Pāli

Links and resources for journeying into the Pāli textual tradition:

Sutta Central: online searchable repository of Pāli texts. If you know the code, e.g. mn10, then you can go straight to the text you want, and even read it in Pali and English side by side, which is nice.

With this integration of Voice with Sutta Central, you can listen to Pali texts recited by a robot: https://voice.suttacentral.net

Access to Insight remains a favourite: a simple and accessible resource focused on English translations by trusted scholars (many of the same translations form the core at Sutta Central).

Publications by Bhikkhu Anālayo from the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies: https://www.buddhistinquiry.org/resources/offerings-analayo-old/publications/
